    Howdy! I'd like to second that welcome! Getting stuck on a diet that limits certain foods just doesn't strike me as a good idea - I guess after trying all the restricted food diets over the years (decades) I have become convinced that a specific diet is not the answer for me. I follow a very general balanced diet. I guess I came to Spark because it WASN'T a "diet program". This are a life-style change program - and I needed to change my life forever, not just another diet that would work for a while and then I would "blow it", you know what I mean? But I don't want to just rain on your high protein/low card parade. For some people that is the life-style change they feel most comfortable with! I got so sick of meat and protein and had such cravings on such a diet I could hardly stand it any more! And of course went and re-gained a lot of weight. Anyhoo, those are my thoughts and I genuinely hope you can read some material here that will help you get your own program rolling for life! So explore, join a Team, read, track and have some fun!
