Let's get up and move!

Funny loving, energetic female who has slowed in her old age! I found SP from a yahoo article so decided to check it out. So glad I did! I don't want to put anything "bad" on my food log so I am already eating healthier. And I have started going back to the gym after a 4 month dry spell.

I have decided my ultimate reward that I am losing weight for....a motorcycle tour of either Ireland, Scotland, or maybe Spain. My husband and I just started talking about going in a few years ...

My Goals:
Get off insulin and blood pressure meds!!

Keep up with my dog, Rami, in agility competition.

Not look so fat in english clothes (horseback riding).

Have to get a new, smaller motorcycle jacket.
Maybe even get a leather vest for riding and look sexy in it!!

Get rid of my love-handle (even though my hubby doesn't want me to).

My Program:
Logging my food and exercise daily is helping keep me on track so far.

I loaded some more music on my phone to help me stay on the elliptical longer. Love some 80s!!

Personal Information:
Grew up in TX, but live in TN now. Have 7 4-legged kids (4 horses, 2 dogs, 1 cat) who are helping with the exercise.

Other Information:
Love to read romance novels which my husband likes to call "smut" for some reason.

Dressed up little creatures
On a dark October night
Run from door to door
Giving everyone a fright.

They come and ring your doorbell
And before they will retreat,
They beg you for some candy
By yelling "trick or treat".

When their bags are full,
They run home to eat their fill.
They taste a bit of everything
And by morning they are ill!

So to keep the youngsters healthy,
I've figured out a deal.
This year instead of candy,
I'll give them all oatmeal!

Lanitai....I haven't broken the illusive 200 mark yet. I am getting exercise in and usually stay within my food ranges, but no much else is happening. I guess I need to up the exercise since food is a hard one.

Thank you for the nice comment on my blog. I know that people like us who have slower/reg metabolisms have to do this daily to stay fit. it's just a fact. How have you been doing on your weight loss? Did you break the 200lb mark yet?
