I've been married for nearly 20 years to a great guy! He's less than 180 pounds and in not the greatest health. No children but we have a fish tank with hundred of tiny fish and we feed the wild birds. I love animals but it's not possible where we live without a hefty fee.

My Goals:
At 6' tall I'd like to eventually see 199 and then go from there. I used to be a thin girl when I was younger. Before I'm 50 I want to be healthier, thinner, and happier.

My Program:
I've given up ice cream, pizza, and soft drinks. I just started walking 8 days ago and can now go 1/2 lap at the walking track without sitting down!!! I made it 1 1/3 lap last night am and STOKED!

my name is Brenda. I'm married almost 20 years to Tim. My dad is retired air force but I've been in Alabama for 35 years, so I guess you can say I'm a bama girl. I'm tired of being HUGE. my Bff (not that big) and I are both starting this today. I hope we can keep each other going!

That said, I go through phases where I like to craft or don't. I want to be around people or don't. But one thing holds true - I'm always in the mood to get on the Internet which means I'm at the library a couple days per week!

Thank you for the encouragement to walk off these pounds. I have been exercising for short 10 - 15 min segments through out the day and find that it's not as over whelming as trying to walk etc.for an hr. My husband and I also started taking walks after dinner. Our neighborhood has alot of hills and I'm going to conquer each one! emoticon
