Life is a trip
When I started Spark in 2011, I never thought I would get back into running but that's what I did. I ran a 5K, a 10K and a half marathon. I lost the 10 pounds I wanted to lose and I was feeling great about myself. Then, I lost my job. Looking for employment was not as easy as I hoped it would be. I started taking on temp assignments, financially I was declining rapidly. By 2012 I was eating more and more and exercising less and less. I started taking on temp assignments, financially I was declining rapidly. By 2012 I was eating more and more and exercising less and less. To make a long story short, I gained back 9 out of the 10 pounds I lost. I'm still looking for work, but I am determined to get back on my exercise regimen and stay connected to Spark. I may give up temporarily to rethink options and rebuild my focus but I always return to what worked and Spark worked for me, so I know with determination and commitment, it will work for me again.

My Program:
Run 3x a week Strength train 3x a week. Track food daily.
Personal Information:
I live in Oakland, CA. I enjoy running and will probably be doing it for a long time. I enjoy writing short stories. I'm an avid reader. I love to dance.
Other Information:
I run/walk 3 days a week. I also strength train 3 days a week. My goal is to get down to 130 by August 10, 2012.
