Well here we go for another 5% challenge... am looking forward to getting back on the wagon of clean eating... a good sign is that I really don't enjoy the sweet stuff anymore... makes me feel sick. lol

Great news!! Friends of ours are giving us a week in their time share in kona Hawaii.. so we got flights today. My hubby and I are leaving on the 26th and will be back on the 3rd. first time ever for him to go on a trip like this... so looking forward to it. Dread the flights ...

Dread the flights but once I am there I will be in paradise. Planning on getting lots of walking in not so much hiking and I am not able to do much like that but there is lots to do and see. Will enjoy the great outdoors and the warm ocean... ohhh my know that I will enjoy it... the last time i went with my dd for my 60th birthday over a year ago now and it was such a wonderful get away. So thankful that we have our accomodations for next to nothing so just our flights and can eat fruit and nuts... lol

I am excited... leaving 5:10 am from seattle and will arrive in kona around noon...

My Goals:
My current goal is to lose 5% of my weight by September 22nd

To cut out the white processed products from my diet.

Get to where I can walk without pain in my hip, knees and ankles.

To have more confidence in myself.

To get back to where I am feeling better physically.

To get to within a healthy goal range.

To make healthy eating and good habit that will remain with me for the rest of my life.

I don't believe in dieting. But I know that eating healthier and exercise is what is going to help me get down to a more realistic goal weight for me!



My Program:
my chiro has put me on a noting white eating plan. protien and vegies at every meal. Hoping to soon get my fruit back. Isn't easy but it is doable.

I am currently doing a walking program... from 30-60 minutes a day.



Personal Information:
I live in BC Canada.

I have a wonderful family of 2 children and then a ddil as well as 2 wonderful gransons that are growing up way to fast.

Other Information:
I love to do crafts...

Love to knit, crochet

Love to scrapbook even though I am so far behind on my grandsons books.

Love to try anything new that looks like it would be fun to do when it comes to crafting.

Good to hear from you again! Yes, you need to take care of yourself first! I had a rough time the first few months after my wife passed, but doing volunteer efforts, becoming active in an adventure club, and travelling to visit friend has helped tremendously. I can now look back at picture albums with happiness for the good times we had instead of just overwhelming sadness. Good luck in your efforts! See you around.
