It Is Time To Grow Up!
I have decided it is now time that I started acting like a responsible adult! We all need to grow up at some point. I will NOT sit in front of the computer and play games for hours. I will NOT eat cake and corn chips for dinner anymore. I WILL eat more vegetables, and yes, they are good for me. I WILL plan out meals for the week and do my best to stay within my calorie count for the day. A fruit smoothie is way bettter for me ...

I will NOT eat cake and corn chips for dinner anymore. I WILL eat more vegetables, and yes, they are good for me. I WILL plan out meals for the week and do my best to stay within my calorie count for the day. A fruit smoothie is way bettter for me than a bowl of ice cream. I Will use a smaller plate, bowl and glass for my meals. I WILL eat slower so I know when I am getting full. I WILL walk at least 15 minutes a day. I WILL strive to be healthier in all my decisions.

My Goals:
Mylong term goal is to reach 140 pounds. Interim goal is to lose 19 pounds. I will give myself a nice sparkgoodie and a new outfit (Not from the thrift store) when I lose 19 pounds. I would like to become more healthy in my overall health as well as in my eating habits. I would like to strengthen my body as well as my mind. I have changed my weight loss ticker to reflect the weight I have lost to date. Seemed very daunting to see how far I still had to go, this way it reflects what I have accomplished! I hope it will motivate me more like this.
My Program:
I am trying to do 30 minutes of exercise daily. I am striving to walk 30 minutes a day as well. Three days a week I would like to do strength exercises. They are so very difficult for me to stick with!
Personal Information:
I am from Florida and it is very humid here so it is difficult to get the needed exercise outside. I love to ride my bike.
Other Information:
I like to read Stephen King and Sylvia Brown books. Believe strongly in a higher being and angels. Belong to the fraternal organization Women of The Moose. I am currently Junior Graduate Regent this year.
