Welcome. I have been gone for a long while but now I am back with a new and improved attitude of nothing but greatness, happiness and power. I have made a few changes since I've been back. First, I surfaced from my shadows and uploaded my pic. which was a sure sign of seriousness and determination for me. I encourage you guys if you do not have a picture to explore the value of having a personal pic for your profile(s).

The last time I did not have a pic. and I went on several encouraging and uplifting spark pages; I made many friends but they never friended me back. I wanted to meet new like minded people who shared my kindred spirit as motivators. However, after a few years gone without a pic and returning back to SP; I made a decision to delete all of the people who did not be-friend me back either because I didn't have a pic at the time or they simply were more private and restricted their contacts, I am assuming and I understand. Regardless, it's all good and I am the one to respect, bless and release and keep it moving. Although, I gladly kept the inspirational friends who friended me unconditionally and I thank God for them.

I am not the one to close up because I do not know you. Not to get it twisted though... because I am allergic to negative people and very, very addictive to positive loving and happy people who set out to inspire and know the ones always making your day and casting a smile. I like people like that because that is solely my mission as well. I am a firm believer that happy and loving souls do find each other and make the connections. To me, it's not about what you are it's more-so about who you are inside. I feel and breathe love today...Do you?

My Goals:
My ultimate goal is to become physically,spiritually emotionally, and financially fit, whereas, I'm able to benefit others by simply radiating inner peace, joy, goodwill and happiness in spite of life's hardships. With and through God I feel I can and will do this!

I will also loose the 50 lbs of "lard" :-)

My Program:
I am eating healthier and smaller portions of food.

I am walking 1-2 miles each morning atleast 5-6 times per week....and doing floor exercises at times.

I love beautiful nature scenes/walking, relaxing, wathcing inspirational programs and good movies, reading, gardening (new hobby), exploring the "net" and making beaded jewelry...also christian fellowship.

    Thanks for adding me as a friend. I see that you are just getting into the program. I wish you well on your journey. You really can do it. Sometimes it gtes hard in the summer because of all of the "cook outs" but you can do it... just a little at a time. Carry on! -- Jackie

    SparkPeople is not another diet; it is a positive lifestyle change...
    Stay focused and keep a positive attitude as this will be a great help to you in your daily life!!! Smile although sometimes that is the hardest, but it really helps!!! And, if nothing else, it makes people wonder what you're up to.
    Watch your portion control. Be sure to drink plenty of water (8-8oz glasses daily) and walk. Water and walking will help you on this journey of lowering numbers and weight loss. Start small if that is all you can do or have time to do and add to it as you are able. Even 5-10 minutes several times a day adds up to bigger numbers and will keep you moving. Invest in a good pedometer (about $10) and see how many steps you currently take each day. Before long you will be adding steps just to see how many you can do and how far you can go. WHAT A GREAT MOTIVATOR!!! YOU can do this!!!
