Hi, I am beginning a final weight loss effort for healthier living. I know I have problems craving carbs that are not good for me. I have various health problems where I cannot walk for exercise, can only do elliptical, water, or recumbent bike. Looking for encouragement and help along the way. Thanks. Looking forward to chatting and learning.
To Lose Weight overall for better health. exercise portion control, and live a long, productive life!
Goals within: to get my cholesterol and blood pressure within normal ranges; lose weight to take stress off of my joints and avoid any more joint replacements; gain more energy; fit in average size clothes range, vs plus sizes; look and feel good about myself!
1st goal: Lose 10% of starting weight by however long it takes!
Continue losing 10% until I reach goal
Measuring and weighing food
Tracking it on SP
Drinking a minimum of 8 glasses of water a day
Eating a minimum of five fruits/vegetables each day
Staying motivated & motivating others
I am originally from MD; hubby & I moved to Dunnellon, FL 4 years ago.
One son lives in Gaithersburg, MD. One daughter in Los Angeles, CA.
So glad I found SP!
Need lots of encouragement and support to do this on my own. Do not know when full!
Suffer from Osteoarthritis, Bursitis, Fibromyalgia, Hypothyroidism, Advanced Degenerative Arthritis, which makes it difficult to exercise. Can do stretches, water exercise, recumbent bike, and elliptical only. Dr.'s orders not to do any other kind of impact exercise.
