Becoming healthy and strong

New start, a new day, and a new way of eating and living. Less sugar, more whole grains, lots of fruits and veggies. Walking, jogging, working muscles.

My Goals:
Non-food soothing and rewards
Regular exercise
Becoming healthy and strong
Gradual transformation of habits

I need some new jogging goals/exercise plan.

My Program:
i have been gradually improving eating habits--more nutritious and healthful.

Right now, I'm enjoying jogging at the Y and in the neighborhood. I also am working on finding "tools" to reduce stress on a bad day.

Personal Information:
I am loving how exercise makes me feel--happy and high energy. Just jogged my first 5k!!!

I've been very gradually working to improve aspects of eating, over the past few years. Currently, I'm working on spacing out snacks and meals, so that I don't "graze" as much.

Working out is such a blessing to me. Training makes my mood elevate drastically, gives me extra energy, gives me some "me" time, is motivating, is enabling my weight loss, is helping me delay or prevent diabetes, and is a great example for my daughter, so I just HAVE to keep going!

Other Information:
Motivation is what gets you started, habit is what keeps you going. (I stole this.)

I just jogged my first 5k! If I can do it, you can do it. A couple of months ago, I could barely run 25 feet, seriously.

Hey can you let me see your food tracker so I can include you in our mini-challenge? You inspired me to start tracking again!
