Callie, my new Caliby cat(Calico tabby). I would drop the pounds if I was as active as she is.

Betsy Westie, I want to be as cute and energetic as she is!

Dusty Cat, I am almost as lazy as he is, but he looks more sophisticated doing it.

I have 3 pics in my gallery

Today is my 5th year Bandiversary. I need to get motivated and lose the rest of my excess weight. I am injured (2 sprained wrists and a cracked orbital bone)and will have to start slowly but I will start.

Ok "Start" is misleading. I once weighed an extra 132 pounds. I need to restart and lose at least 30 more.

Wowie girly! This is an amazing story. I'm happy it is working out for you now. But what a trial. How long has it taken you to lose that 132? i'm curious because i'm facing the option of band v bypass and am checking them both out. I actually went in for the band (have the stab wounds too) but my liver was enlarged and she couldn't get the band on, and due to complications she is now recommending the bypass. any words of wisdom?

Welcome to the Lapbanders team. I hope you enjoy this team as much as I do.

I have a tortoise shell calico, named Turtle. She was a stray, who found a home with us. She's a very playful kittty, but sleeps and lays around too.

Anyway, just wanted to welcome you to the team.
Sam
