wow, hope you are sticking with it!! I joined in May, did great over the summer, and then when school started I haven't been able to track much. I'm back at it her in Oct. I've still be losing, but I hate getting on the scale. I take it you like running. I was really getting into it last fall, but I broke my leg last Christmas. Since then I've been focusing on swimming and biking. Now I want to do a tri-athelon. I know the weight I have lost will help me be a better runner, so that is GOOD! 3346 days ago
Hey neighbor Beth! The store I'd mentioned in the post is called Marathon Sports. I just went to their site and they have one in Boston, Cambridge, Brookline, Wellesley and Norwell. The one in Cambridge is right outside of Harvard Sq. which means Felipe burritos afterwards! (But of course you wear the new shoes and run over there...not.) I was super impressed with how much attention they gave me. And the shoes I ended up with are magic...my time & mileage has increased! OK, sorry I wrote a novel here. Talk to you soon! 3352 days ago
Beth - I remember the days (4 months ago!) I too was insane enough to get up at 4.30am, why? simply to find time to fit my exercise in. There is nothing like starting the day off with a great buzz from those happy little "en-dor-fins" (I really must learn how to spell that word!!). Its also great knowing as you work thru your busy day, you don't have to stress about finding time to exercise, as its already done!!
I feel such committment should be rewarded by the elusive Weight Loss Fairy. Those that start before 5am should qualify to burn double calories!!
