Go Big or Go Home
I have been overweight for half my life. I don't know what its like to be at a healthy weight as an adult. Because of this, I am both eager and apprehensive to make realistic lifestyle changes. My boyfriend and I quit smoking last year. To date I need to lose at least 240 lbs - basically a linebacker. That goal has been too big for me, so for now, I'm focused on a smaller one - 10% of my body weight (40 lbs) that I can take off and keep off.
