I NEED this....

I am 46 years old. Mother of a gorgeous 16-year-old daughter. I Love Fall, Halloween, Winter, and Cats! :) Been married 24 years. In 2004 I lost 85 lbs. From a size 22 to 10! I kept it off all this time until recently. I had some anxiety issue and starting taking something for that... then had partial knee replacement... now have gained 36#'s back and it won't stop coming on.... I need focus and motivation....

I have now been maintaining my gain and am going to put a stop to it ...

I have now been maintaining my gain and am going to put a stop to it now. I do not take any meds... only vitamins and drinking my water and maintaining a positive attitude! I have reset my goals and am ready for this!! :)

My Goals:
Baby goal as of today... 211.4 as of 1-6-15. Goal to be under 200 by the end of March!

I will continue to get 10,000 steps a day.

I will eat 5 fruits and veggies a day!

I will fit YOGA into my week at least once preferably twice a week!

My Program:
I did start a G.I.F.T. program (Get Into Fitness Today) at the local YMCA. I have counted calories as long as I can remember and have written everything I've eaten since January 2004 and even before then. I am focusing on 5 fruits and veggies and 10,000 steps a day...

Personal Information:
Born and Raised Minnesotan! And proud of it! LOVE Winter (usually).

Other Information:
I am a mother of a teen girl! This job is the most challenging!
I am a HALLOWEEN Fanatic! Not sure how this came about but I LOVE Halloween and the Fall season! :)
I've been married 24 years! (this too is a job in itself! :) )

Well after putting all my food down yesterday.... I need to cut Waaaayyyy back! I do plenty of exercise but keep scarfing it down.... Gonna lift weights during lunch hour at the Y and then veggies and fruit are gonna be a focus today! Wish me luck! Again... Thanks all emoticon

Thank you guys!! Honestly it was GREAT to see responses... It was like pulling teeth to get a sec to come on but that is also a part I want to maintain is checking in and following through!! Soooooo..... today I added swimming... my daughter is a swimmer and wanted to quit.... I told her she couldn't and instead have decided to add swimming with her as an additional exercise! We swam for an hour!! And instead of waiting till I made everyone breakfast .... I went to Snap first for 30 mins... and then came home and made breakfast!! And have talked to my daughter about setting goals with me.... and we are going to do a plank challenge and squat challege.... A little of ALL the great advice I got here.... One day down... onto the next!

I do have a fitbit zip and I also walk over 10,000 steps a day! I try to never falter on that. I do need strength training more though!
