Here I Go Again (Again)

Back here to give it another shot! I am eternally grateful to SP for helping me lose 30+lbs and keep it off for almost 4 years. I have truly changed my life. I feel like I am at about the halfway point to my final goal. I would like to lose 15 more before we start trying for a little one--that would put me in the "healthy" weight range for my height. My goal--track food every day, work out 3 days a week, love myself, and have fun. 15 pounds by April 1 here I come!!

¸.•♥´ .•´¨¨ ¸´¸.•´¨Welcome to the EE team!!
I’ve belonged to a lot of teams here on spark-- i really do believe that the Emotional Eaters team is one of the very best, it’s a great group of people- very supportive and encouraging-- and it is very refreshing to talk with people who "get" what you're going through!! ¸¸.•¨¸♥¨`*,¸.•*´¨`*• .¸♥.*¸.•´¸.•*¨¸.•*¨¸.•´¸.•*¨) ¸.•*¨)
Check out the main page of the EE team- there are “stickied” topics you may be interested in to get involved- a buddy thread, a place to introduce yourself, weigh-in challenge, a birthday post. ¸.•*¨¸.•´¸.•*¨(¸.•´ (¸.•´ (¸.•´¸¸.•¨¸♥¨`*,¸.•*´¨`*• .¸♥. ¸.•♥´ .•´¨¨ ¸´¸.•´¸.•*¨)¸¸.•´ ..•-~'¸.•*¨)
Spark has a lot of great tools, and you will learn which ones work best for you. The best tools are the people tho, always willing to lend a hand, an ear, or a shoulder. I’ve been here for over a year now, and I still am overwhelmed, every day, by the kindness and goodness of others on this team!! That has made a world of difference for me. I hope you have the same success! ¸¸.•¨¸♥¨`*,¸.•*´¨`*• .¸♥.*.•*¨¸.•´¸.•*

Well hello Mayor! lol! I too like to stay accountable. May I suggest you make your food and fitness public? I know it makes me think twice before I eat bad,or go too long without exercising when I know everyone can see what I'm doing(or not!) emoticon

Ok, hey! I just wanted to stop by and say thanks so much for joining the challenge. Be sure to go by the general discussion forum and check out the design of my challenge. It tells you all the details of what you do. If anything is unclear just write me or post a message and I will get back to you within 24 hours. I make it a point of mine to do so. I started this as motivation for myself because I have done so well with this little program that I created and I thought to myself, "why not let others try it and get results?" So that is what I did. I am down to my last little stretch of weight and I want to go out with a BANG! before I go to maintenance. I hope you enjoy it and remember that you cannot fail this challenge. You can only quit. So if you always jump right back on the horse and never quit, YOU NEVER FAIL! Do your best and again, I am super glad to have you!

Hi, Beth! Thanks for stopping by my page. I can totally relate to your fear of taking a group class. I'm pretty uncoordinated when it comes to doing any kind of exercise that involves steps (like aerobics or tae-bo, etc.). Maybe you can start off with a spinning or cycling class? That's what I did. It's in a darkened room where you are the only one who knows how much "load" (i.e., weight) is on the wheel (by turning a knob). You can sit in the back of the room, but make sure you can at least see the instructor to you know what to do, and be certain you get there early the 1st time and ask for help in setting up your bike to your body (and remember the settings for the next time!). Honestly, I love spinning class even though others say it's so hard. Not really. We only get out of it what we put into it, so I say if you're gonna exercise, get the benefit! Let me know how you're doing no matter what you end up doing. ~~Lori (P.S. If it makes you feel any better, I just started a boot camp class. Oh. My. Gosh. Talk about pain! And I'm PAYING for this???!!! LOLOL)
