I'm ready for a change
I'm a mom of 2 teenage boys, and am looking to begin anew. I joined SparkPeople June 28, 2010 after having known about this website for a number of years. I tried it a couple times in the past, but was never consistent in using it. I always wanted the "quick fix" and didn't want to put the effort into being healthy. Well that's changed now. I know that this journey will take time, and if you're familiar with the saying "how time flies" than maybe it won't be so bad! My Goals:
I would like to lose 35 pounds by December 2010. Drink 8 glasses of water every day. Exercise every week - keep moving!
My Program:
In order to meet my goals I commit to the following: Use the Nutrition Tracker every day and stay within 1200-1550 calories every day while ensuring that I meet my ranges for Protein, Carbohydrates and Fat. Exercise a minimum 30 minutes 5 days per week and track this on my Exercise Tracker. Drink a minimum of 8 glasses of water every day. Get out and enjoy life... go for a walk, join an exercise class, etc. Celebrate my successes, and don't agonize over the minor stumbles I may have.
