Creating a New Me-One Step at A Time

Hi. My name's Beth. I'm looking for support to maintain my healthy lifestyle.
I have a physical disability (Cerebral Palsy) and also have been struggling with clinical depression since I was 16, but I try not to let my challenges get in the way of living a normal life. I am also the proud "Mama" of a Service Dog named Somerset ("Somer" for short). Her picture is in the gallery.

My Goals:
1. Stay positive even if I don't see results at the scale.
2. Keep myself accountable by tracking fitness on SparkPeople
3. Reward myself when I achieve my fitness goals. Favorite Rewards: DVDs, CDs, "ME" TIME!!!!!!
4. Allow for some flexability within my food plan so I do not feel deprived.
Plan for December 2013
Goals:
Fitness: 2,000 Fitness minutes
Nutrition: Track food and activity daily. (I track on Weight Watchers e-tools).
Team: Connect with my buddies by posting on boards or fellow members' pages at least once a week.

My Goals:
Hmm.. my profile image fits my goals pefectly! I am in the process of "creating a new me". It's more than just weight loss in my case. I hope to have better self esteem, a more positive attitude, maybe even find the love of my life in the process.

My Program:
I have been a Weight Watchers "Lifetime Member" for10 years. So I have reached my goal weight, now am just trying to maintain it. I do this with daily workouts & monitoring my calories/ counting points...well, most of the time.! No one's perfect. Please join me on my journey.
