Reshaping me and my life!

After being at SAHM for 19 years, I took a desk job 4 years ago and have gained at least 20 lbs. My exercise routine went by the wayside and, due to family schedules we eat much later in the evening, in order to eat together as a family. Started exercising regularly again last Dec. (08) and joined SP this spring to help keep track of calorie intake as well.

Now unto to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, accornding to his power that is at work ...

My Goals:
I want to lose 20-25 by the end of this yearJune. More importantly, I want to continue to make exercise and healthy eating HABITS in my life.

My Program:
Am "getting started again" after slacking off the exercise for several months. Looking forward to feeling better!

Back to:
Cardio 5 x per week
Wt training - alternating between upper and lower body 4-6 times per week.

Trying to incorporate these eating habits:
8 glasses of water/day
5-6 fruits and veggies per day
Increasing protein and fiber in my diet.
Trying out one new Spark Recipe per week.

Personal Information:
I am a mom of four daughters. One is married, one in college and two at home. I work outside the home full time. My husband works at home at homeschools our two younger girls.

Beth, thank you for your support it really means alot!! I have been on this journey for almost 2 years and it has been a challange but well worth it!! I actually signed on to this site awhile back but was using Shape.com but have found that this site is loaded with so much more of everything!!

Anyhow good luck on reaching your goal....you are worth the effort emoticon Thanks again Kim

Thank you for stopping by!
I, too, took a break during the holidays. It set me back quite a bit but I'm trying to get back on track now. My goal is to lose at least 60 before my daughter starts preschool in the fall. I don't want to be the biggest mommy there!
It's great to see that you can exercise again! I recall seeing something about that a few weeks ago-is that correct? Or was it someone else? Sorry, I was a terrible SPfriend over the holidays! : ( Anyway, I'm happy to see that you're up and moving! It looks like you're doing great!
