After being at SAHM for 19 years, I took a desk job 11 years ago and have struggled to maintain a good exercise routine with the long hours we work. I have found that short efficient workouts at home work best for me, and currently use many of Jessica Smith's workouts on DVD and You Tube. I can usually get a short 15-30 min workout in before work and try to take short walks during my breaks. On weekends I try to get at least one 40 min walk in along with some extra stretching to try to reverse the effects of my rather stressful work week. I am working now to incorporate more yoga and stretching into my week and improve my food tracking and water intake. I am grateful for my wonderful, growing family including my husband of 38 years, our 4 daughters, 2 sons-in-law, and another joining us in Aug 2016. And of course we can't forget our 5 yo grandson, William, who is a delight to the entire family. My current goal is to lose 15 lbs and be in good shape for things I enjoy doing. Long term, I just want to do the best for my overall health so I can be of service to others and God and enjoy participating in my daughters and their families activities. My Goals:
I want to lose 20-25 by the end of this yearJune. More importantly, I want to continue to make exercise and healthy eating HABITS in my life.


My Program:
Am "getting started again" after slacking off the exercise for several months. Looking forward to feeling better!

Back to:
Cardio 5 x per week
Wt training - alternating between upper and lower body 4-6 times per week.

Trying to incorporate these eating habits:
8 glasses of water/day
5-6 fruits and veggies per day
Increasing protein and fiber in my diet.
Trying out one new Spark Recipe per week.



Personal Information:
I am a mom of four daughters. One is married, one in college and two at home. I work outside the home full time. My husband works at home at homeschools our two younger girls.
