One more time

HI. I'm 72 and giving another try at getting healthier. I'm working on my emotional eating. Since we've retired I have to work on ways to keep moving. I'm feeling very hopeful on making progress with weight loss and improving my life.

My Goals:
To conquer my emotional eating and reach a healthier steady body weight. I want to declutter my home and life. I want to be more active.

My Program:
I workout at the YMCA with my husband Three days a week. I have a chair yoga and senior strength dvd to use on other days. I'm working with The Emotional Repair Manual by Julie M. Simon to get through that problem.


Personal Information:
I grew up in California but I have lived in Washington since high school. My husband is from Montana. We're both retired as of Feb. 2013 and are having problems getting used to it. I love living in western Washington, even love the rain.


Other Information:
I enjoy working on family history. Haven't painted any for a couple of years but I signed up for a watercolor class to get myself started again. We would love to travel a lot but the funds are low so we keep ourselves happy with daytrips and senior trips.

Thank you for your comment on my blog This is Crazy! My weight keeps fluctuating so much! I needed that reminder that it's not always about the scale. I have been going CRAZY with that thing and weighing myself everyday to make sure I am not blowing it. Then I get on this morning and bam it was up two pounds. Oh well...I will not weigh everyday, it is getting in the way of my motivation!!
