Reaching my goals, one step at a time

So I gave birth to my beautiful baby #4 on November 13th. Ive had my ups and downs as far as weight goes.... more ups than downs, unfortunately! LOL But here I am starting a new chapter in my life and in my weight loss. My goal is to lose 100 lbs in 2011, and I don't doubt I will do it!!!

Hey everyone! My name is Jenny, I'm a happily married mother of three beautiful children. I like to take pride in my self, my home and my family. Taking care of myself has kinda fallen by the wayside.
I joined Spark in Dec. of 2006, but I had Dial-up, so everything was incredibly slooow. I messed around on here for a couple of weeks, but never set up a profile, or anything. Then I never came back, until October of 2008. So here I am!
I guess Im what you call a yo yo - well, I never really dieted until here recently ( It hasnt worked well for me either) but I have lost and regained a few times. Usually it was with a lot of excercise, and there was always some reason that I gained back. It didnt just happen. 3 times I gained weight because I was pregnant ( Right now is one of those times. My baby just turned 7 months today (oct.1) Twice cuz I quit smoking. ( Right now also, and I am determined to not start again) So my plan right now is to excecise my butt off. Well here I go!!!

Pregnancy Weight
My new goal is to gain around 10 lbs or less during my pregnancy. I started out at 228, and I am already up several pounds, but my plan is to get my eating under control, keep up my exercise, and keep on. I can lose those pounds back down, and that is what I am going to do.

My Goals:
Progress not perfection- End my emotional eating/bingeing
Weight goal- get below 200 before November 1, 2012
Exercise- Keep up my workouts to get stronger and leaner. I want to be active forever

My Program:
Exercise- 30 minutes activity everyday, 80 minutes 5 times/week. Chalene Extreme 3 days/week. I mix in a bunch of of workouts including turbo Jam, turbo Fire and insanity, along with glider or elliptical
Eating-right now Im focusing on calories- trying to stay in my range and make healthy choices


Personal Information:
I am 5' 7. My ultimate goal weight is 157. That may change with time, but right now, that is the number in my head. I want to end my food addiction, and emotional eating.

Other Information:
Im a stay at home mom with an amazing husband and 4 awesome rambunctious kids- 1 girl and 3 boys. I love my hubs, my kids and God- Im always working on being better at everything although I have yet to be perfect at anything, Gah! lol

Id like to invite you to join in my challenge to lose 10 pound in July. i know some of us might be saying 10 pounds? that is too much! cant do it! But i here to tell u i did it for 7 months straight, b4 i got sick with cancer and had dropped out for a yr and a half. if u stay within ur calories that are alotted and if u track everything that passes ur lips u can do it too. I was never one that stayed on a diet more than 3 weeks at a time, and then I'd get discouraged and dropped off. i lost 75 pounds just doing calorie counting and tracking to make sure i never went over. i barely exercised ...i am handicapped and i cant do exercises in the conventional way but i flapped my arms while sitting and leg raises. very minimal stuff. the idea was to keep moving and i did that. so i know with disipline, encouragement and motivation u can too.. so i invite u to come and join me on my 10 pound challenge! emoticon emoticon

Thanks for dropping by. It was so good to see your beautiful face. Let's get this thing going in 2012. I'm going cold turkey off the sugar from the holidays! YIKES. I forgot how addictive it is. Tomorrow is definitely THE DAY OF ZERO SUGAR.
