Born today, September 12, you aren't the kind to put up with unsolicited comments or criticism. This is perhaps because there is always that nagging voice telling you that what you are hearing from others is actually the truth. You insist on maintaining your autonomy at all times; in fact, your independence is so important to you that you may actually sacrifice connections with others just when they might prove most important to you.
You have been endowed with the kind of talent that is sure to win you the attention, praise and admiration of others -- despite your own doubts and insecurities. Still, you must always come to terms with the fact that not everyone will be a fan, and your endeavors may attract more than your share of criticism.
Todays Virgo Horoscope: You're doing something that is not exactly frowned upon but that is likely to win you only mixed reviews. Still, you believe in the endeavor.
Sorry, I hadn't seen your comment until today.
You do have it harder with a husband who smokes, but my sister did the cold turkey thing with her smoking husband not quitting for 10 more years.
Just remember, that REALLY HARD part, (the strong urge to smoke especially when your husband gets home and smokes) only lasts 6 days. You need to be like a bull to get through this. Just push through. Be a little demanding and ask your husband to smoke away from you or just get up and leave the room when he starts to smoke. Explain that it won't always be that way, but for a little while you need to do what you need to do.
Not that it's easy after that, but once you make it through that you know you can make it through the next 6 weeks.
The secret is to know, right from the start, that if you smoke one cigarette all your dreams of being a non-smoker will end. So never take another single cigarette.
BTW, It's still a bit of a challenge for me, but not the urge thing. The bug in my brain tells me that I can have just one, for old times sake. I know it's not true. I expect this bug to be around for another 5 years. 1992 days ago
