2014 was a year full of ups and downs - emotionally as well as on the scale. I ended the year at goal but I didn't see that number as often as I wish I had. 2015 will be different - which is something of a non sequitur - but it is nonetheless true. The Big Picture Goal is to begin each month within my target range. The supporting cast for the Big Picture will be worked out and shared on my blog over the coming months but it will surely include healthy food, reasonable portion sizes, delightful ...

My Goals:
2015 GOALS

1. Be within 2 lbs of 150 every month of the year

2. Try 12 new fitness classes/ exercises/sports

3. Master one new type of cooking - it can be ethnic or just learning how to use new foods.



My Program:
Still workin' it out but:

1. Pick a fun thing to have a monthly streak about here on SP

2. Follow the Weight Watcher Program and attend meetings

3. track track track what I eat - any way I can, every day

4. Drink enough water - 6 glasses a day

5. Eat mostly vegan meals - they're delicious!

6. Plan my meals for an entire week

7. Keep active every day - and do formal exercise 4 or more days each week

Today's a rest day, although I may do a mile with the dog around the neighborhood.
Yesterday was a 11 miler, and it was miserable. The heat is back after all the rain! emoticon

I got a Garmin Vivosmart. And to be honest there are times it too doesn't recognize that I'm running. Guess I'm that slow. What I do like about it is that it measures my sleep. I don't have to set it to do that, it recognizes when I'm winding down and sleeping, when I'm in deep sleep and when I'm tossing and turning.
But my Fitbit would still have measured steps and calories burned. If you aren't relying on it for activity minutes, it's perfectly OK.

I so appreciate your comments on my blog about gardening. Somedays it's just a better place to be than in the gym or on a trail!
