For most of 2013 I was At Goal - a marvelous feeling - and though the last few weeks of December knocked me off track - and the first few days of January 2014 seemed to move very slowly - at last I'm ready to hop back on my Maintenance Pony and continue living a healthy life.

I'm still a Maintenance Newbie and it takes as much effort as weight loss took - but it's a whole lot more fun to dress a body in maintenance! Woo Woo.

I am glad you are feeling better. It is always going to hurt when we lose people we love. Thank goodness for family and animals. I am heading to see my mom next week who is very ill. I am going to try to enjoy that precious time with her. Hugs to you.

"Three of the most powerful words in the English language are 'I AM RESPONSIBLE.' It's tough to do, but when the day comes that you can say those words, believe them, and mean them, it will be the most liberating moment of your life. Taking responsibility for all of your results, for better or for worse, is taking back your power to create results in your life."

In our house Tim Gunn is God! I loved your post. And that point when your kids are no longer kids and it's hard to make that change is very true. I'm dealing with it now - so I know how you felt.

Thanks for blogging. Wendy
