For most of 2013 I was At Goal - a marvelous feeling - and though the last few weeks of December knocked me off track - and the first few days of January 2014 seemed to move very slowly - at last I'm ready to hop back on my Maintenance Pony and continue living a healthy life.

I'm still a Maintenance Newbie and it takes as much effort as weight loss took - but it's a whole lot more fun to dress a body in maintenance! Woo Woo.

My Goals:
2014 GOALS

1. Be within 2 lbs of 150 every month of the year

2. Take 2 new fitness/exercise/sports classes

3. Master one new type of cooking - it can be ethnic or just learning how to use new foods.



My Program:
Still workin' it out but:

1. Pick a fun thing to have a monthly streak about here on SP

2. Follow the Weight Watcher Program and attend meetings

3. track track track what I eat - any way I can, every day

4. Drink enough water - 4-6 glasses a day

5. Eat mostly vegan meals - they're delicious!

6. Plan my meals for an entire week

7. Keep active every day - and do formal exercise 4 or more days each week

Married boomer librarian from VA who knits, spins, tells stories and lets dogs get up in the Big Bed.

Thank you for reading my sparkversary blog, and for the thoughtful comment.
Sleep is an important need, and I noticed it is also an indicator of general mindfulness. I mean, if I realize I'm not paying attention to getting to bed in time, then I'm usually in trouble with eating as well, so it is time to get more focused.

Thank you for blogging about your Itty Bitty Bites challenge, it was a good reminder for me, because I have the bad habit of eating too fast, and I usually forget about it.
