For most of 2013 I was At Goal - a marvelous feeling - and though the last few weeks of December knocked me off track - and the first few days of January 2014 seemed to move very slowly - at last I'm ready to hop back on my Maintenance Pony and continue living a healthy life.

I'm still a Maintenance Newbie and it takes as much effort as weight loss took - but it's a whole lot more fun to dress a body in maintenance! Woo Woo.

My Goals:
2014 GOALS

1. Be within 2 lbs of 150 every month of the year

2. Take 2 new fitness/exercise/sports classes

3. Master one new type of cooking - it can be ethnic or just learning how to use new foods.



My Program:
Still workin' it out but:

1. Pick a fun thing to have a monthly streak about here on SP

2. Follow the Weight Watcher Program and attend meetings

3. track track track what I eat - any way I can, every day

4. Drink enough water - 4-6 glasses a day

5. Eat mostly vegan meals - they're delicious!

6. Plan my meals for an entire week

7. Keep active every day - and do formal exercise 4 or more days each week

Married boomer librarian from VA who knits, spins, tells stories and lets dogs get up in the Big Bed.

I used to wear a pedometer faithfully but haven't worn it in quite a while. No good reason; just stopped. I need to get it back on but that is now "old hat" to me and I'm not sure I'd get a big push from it. I know I need to move more and was so motivated by that warm spring weather. I was walking a lot and now?.......well, now it's snowing/raining so I'm dropping back into winter mindset. emoticon
