I am a certified Laughing Yoga leader. This uses both laughing & breathing(where the yoga term comes in) to get one's exercise. There are many benefits to this type of exercise including:
lower blood pressure, increased circulation, lowered levels of cortisol (stress hormone). I will be adding to this, as I hope to branch out from my laughing club into leading sessions at conferences and lectures.

I have been on the yo-yo weight-loss journey for 20 years. I am looking forward to eating healthy consistently. I need to translate the knowledge into living.

I have a book, "The End of Overeating: Taking Control ..." by David Kessler. It REALLY helps with understanding why some of us go out of control (binge) on certain foods.

If you can get a copy of this learn about hyperpalatable food, it can help you choose more wisely especially when eating out!!

My Goals:
My big goal is to not use a seat belt extender when flying.
To not look in the mirror and wonder who that fat person is (my slim self is in my mind's eye).

My Program:
Due to my competitive swimming background I have been totally reckless about normal portion sizes.
Shooting for 400, 500, 700 calories per meal, with about 300 cals for snacks.

I aim for 1600-2100 calories a day.

Aerobic Exercise: swimming laps 2x, water aerobics, 3x a week.

ST exercises: do these!

I am originally from Hermosa Beach and now live in Northern California. I have one child who is 15 yrs old.

Other Information:
I love reading, could do it all day long. I also love how I feel after exercising, so refreshed.

I'm a lifetime member of Legoland & Sea Life parks. Can't wait to plan trips to Legoland Denmark, Germany, England, Florida, and maybe even Legoland Dubai.

    I loved that particular version of "Snow White" (won't go see the one out now. sounds scary!) and found it very hard to watch Julia be a big meanie. (I went to see it because she was in it.)

    "Brave" was the cheapie one ($5) but still, when you don't go very often, it's so disappointing to waste your money.

    I would love your discount card. That's a really good deal!

    Do you still swim a lot? Summer, to me, means time in a pool. I miss it even tho I'm not a very good swimmer. I hope you're having a lovely summer!

    Yep yep! We are going golfing for Fathers Day (my FIL's most fave thing to do in LIFE) and then out to lunch. The inlaws are actually going to take a tour of part of the US for a bit of their stay, driving to NM and all over to historic places / parks then will return here for 12 more days. I feel fortunate they can come visit us - even tho I am given the full chore of entertainment for them as my hubby is working.... its alllll good! I still cherish the time, for one day I will wish for it.
