Thanks for asking....lifting is going real well.

After my last competition, I took it easy and did a lot more research on training at intermediate levels. I decided that since I like to compete and that the 4 exercises I do the most (squats, deadlifts, bench press, and overhead press) train my entire body that I should focus on those.

So I'm now experimenting with doing these lifts....every day! I picked a weight that was challenging, but doable for each exercise and I do 2 sets of 5. I don't go to muscle failure either. Every 2 weeks or so, I'll increment the weights up. This is my 3d week doing it....so far I feel great...loose and strong, no soreness.

I've also become fascinated with kettlebells! These have been a great augmentation. They are both a cardio and a strength training exercise and have even increased my flexibility. This weekend I'm taking an 8 hour training class to make sure I've got the form down right.

Stay strong!

I told all my staff thatwe're changing the rules about how we budget. From now on, we will hold cage-fighting matches. The winner will get top budget priority.

Some people will get hurt, but the those who want it the most will survive!
