Don't Worry, Be Happy

My motto is: keep your weight under control and eliminate every pound that sneaks in immediately. That's what I am trying to do. And stop eating chocolate, girl!

I did well on spark until the end of June 2013, then life got tough and I lost control for a while. I put on 9pounds. But, ...

It took me almost a year to get back to 132 pounds on November 14. 2014. Yay!

My Program:
FITNESS:
exercise/week: 350min.
1. running:
- 2 half marathons:
one with my sister on July 4th (+- 2h30min); one alone on October 4th (+- 2h05min)
- for shorter races approach a 5min per kilometer (8min mile)

2. strength training:
- 3 times a week for at least 10 minutes.

3. Stretching and Yoga:
-Stretching: always after exercising
- yoga: once a week
- Foam roller: 2-3 times a week

Challenges:
- try out rock climbing
- try out skiing
- hike in the Rockies

NUTRITION: 2100cal/day 50%carb,25%fat&25%pro

breakfast 400cal
Lunch 700cal
Dinner 600cal
Snacks 400cal

-Eat fresh produce and prepare food to take away
- Watch my emotional eating
-track food every other day
-Post my weight once a week as status.

-June 10.12: Father's day race 8.5km (actually, it was 9.5km = 61minutes)
-October 6.12 race 10.8km with my father (68min).
-April 20: 6km race with sister and father! Yes!
-May 9: Race 9km Yes!
-June 16: Hilly 13km race with my father YES!
-October 26, 2013: Race my first half marathon YES!!! in 02:19:32
-Mai 6, 2014: Fastest 10km - 51 minutes
-October 11. 2014: Tallsperrenlauf Eupen (14.7km) - 1:24:02

Glad the sunshine arrived safe and sound! Perhaps you could send me your February and I'll send you my May (sans black flies) in exchange...how's that? When it is a dinner party, I do a light breakfast, no lunch, enjoy the meal with everyone else with no seconds, etc. (as you say) and then go very light the next day or two as well (if possible). Occasionally I fast if the meal calories have been way over the top...lots of fat, salt and sugar mixed in.
