I used to belong to spark people , years ago ,But when I decided to come back , I couldnt get my old account back,

My reason for leaving SP ,, I went to LPN ( Aug 2008 to Aug 2009) school and just did not have the time to come to SP. Then it was on to work an so wrapped up in what I was doing, I neglected exercise, I forgot how to eat right, I gained 45 pounds the first year and another whopping 45 lbs the 2 nd year. some how I managed to stay at 230 lbs and not gain more . But this is the most I have ever weighed in my life and I hate it.

I am ready to get back on track and get this weight off me . For good. the wedding picture you see to the left of this intro ,, thats me at 230 lbs ,, I never thought I could get so big.

Also I quit smoking , Sept 13, 2011 for good , Its been a month and I have not had so much as a puff, But I have these terrible , head cold like symptoms, have had them since Sept 20 ,, My doctor tells me Its nicotene withdrawal symptoms. I sort of went cold turkey on Sept 20 when I decided I was tired of replacing the nicotene patches every time they fell off.

Any way ,, I'm back and ready to shed the pounds and live a better healthier life.

Update 2/10/12
To date I have lost a total of 21 lbs , and Am still not smoking., Although my husband smokes around me constantly I have stuck to my guns and not touched a cigerette since 9/13/11.

My Goals:
Goal #1 loose 90 + lbs
Mini goals ;
(A) loose 10 LBs, reach 220 lbs ( goal achieved 1/8/12)
(B) Loose 10lbs ,, reach 210 lbs ( goal reached 2/10/12. funny goal to be 210 reached on 2/10 )
(C) Loose 10 lbs reach 200lbs,
Goal # 2 Exercise at least 30 minutes a day 5 or 6 days a week.
Goal #3 Eat healthier ,, not fried food, no greasy food, low cholesteral, sugar free.
Goal # 4 stay in my calorie range every day.
Goal # 5 Stay smoke free.

My Program:
At this moment in time. I am counting calories, limiting fats , staying away from greasy , fried , fat saturated foods. limiting the amount of sweets, cakes, cookies, chocolate , etc that I eat,
Trying to exercise a minimum of 30 minutes a day. alternating between my treadmill , my walking video, yoga, and strenght exercises.

Personal Information:
I am a Wife, mother, grandmother, and Nurse,
I work night shift.
Am an insomniac,
Love taking photographs of animals in nature,
Paint, sketch, crochet, sew, cook, do gardening , fish , hike , and camp. Own a Cat ,, or Am owned by a cat.

Other Information:
I had a very difficult childhood, with abuse , molestation, rape, drugs, alcohol, and attempts at suicide. My past was an ugly one ,, a hard one,, but it made me Strong , I am a Survivor, NOT A Victim, if it has taught me anything its I can make it no matter what I am facing. I have a whole future ahead of me and I intend to forge ahead with my head held high with a strong mind, a strong spirit and stronge body .
