2013: The Year of Enthusiasm

A new year and an abundance of new changes! The plan is to focus on the mind, body, and spirit and celebrate it and love every part of it. The biggest block to success is the draining negativity of pining over what could be, what should have been, etc. Time to live in the moment, love to the fullest, enjoy and occasionally indulge! Time to play, smile, be carefree for a few minutes everyday. Sing, dance, smile, laugh, cry, and just live!
Being one with the moment. Lots of exciting ...

I just read a cure for bad Mondays!

It said that when you're feeling groggy or foggy to sniff ground
sage for an energy boost. Research showed that sage aroma
suppresses the enzyme acetylcholinesterase that prevents the
brain's ability to feel alert and happy! Not only that, but aromatherapy
experts say sage can improve mental focus AND memory!

My personal suggestion is...fresh ground or a good brand of coarse
ground sage. The cheap stuff is very offensive to my nose.

Have a great week and remember to stay focused!

emoticon Hello again, I'm back to see how you are doing and to let you know I'm thinking of you.

Ever wonder what people 'used' to do to get rid of dandruff? Me either, but I'm going to share it with you anyways! LOL
I myself used this formula to lighten my hair, but now that I'm older, I find I already have light hair! LOL
They used a natural rinse made from 3 tablespoons of vinegar or lemon juice and a cup of water or massaged salt all over the scalp before shampooing!
I see by your weight ticker that you are losing your 'baby fat' as we always say!
Good work! emoticon emoticon
I hope you have a really great week!

Hi, it's been a while since I've stopped by your page to check on you so I thought I'd take a quick moment; how are things going for you?

I read somewhere that one lady stacked empty butter cartons on top of each other as she lost the weight so that she could see what it looked like. Now I picture every pound of my excess weight as a brick of butter; which is also pure fat. So any weight I lose, I mentally stack in the corner of my mind to remind me what it looks like.

Hey... Keep reminding yourself how hard you worked and that you deserve to lose for your efforts; and by all means, keep on keeping on!

Hi!

I'm just passing through this time with this strange bit of trivia...

You're not going to believe this, but I just read that chewing gum is a brain booster! Seriously! The Researchers at Northwestern University found that people who chew gum have increased blood flow to the brain and an increase in cognitive performance. Moreover, people who chew gum have less stress, which protects brain cells from stress related hormones. The researchers recommended chewing gum particularly when you have challenging mental work to do.

Who knew?
