Finding The Best Me I Can Be

My baby making years are behind me. I am so lucky to have a best friend for a husband and 4 healthy kids. Seeing my children active in so many sports inspires me to want to be an "active" spectator. I know when I get real with myself, I can do better. I can be better.

I have always had a strong connection to mild-moderate exercises like kickboxing, aerobics, yoga. This past year I had an ACL and meniscus repair following a sports injury. I was finally investing quality time in an active sport I loved, Soccer.
Now, 6 months out from surgery , I am trying to combat the twinges of pain and the fears of reinjury by forging ahead to reconnect with my active,healthy self.
I want to be around for my family for a long time. I know that my behaviors will impact how my children choose to live their lives. I want a spark to catch on with regular fitness and healthy food choices.

My Goals:
Getting to a healthy weight that makes me feel great inside and out.
I would like to paricipate in an "active" charity event this year.

My Program:
I am getting honest with myself about my habits. From grazing on the kids meals to having 1-2 regular beers several nights a week. The effects ARE cumulative.
Cardio for 30 min 3x a week is my starting point.
