I am looking to get very physically fit and keep the weight I lost off! I'd like to get rid of the last vestiges of excess fat and gain more muscle. I'm nearly where I want to be - so it's mostly maintenance at this point and continued learning about health and fitness. Plus, I want to encourage my family to live a healthy way of life.
Exercise: I work out 4-5 times a week doing a combination of resistance training and cardio.
Food: I avoid refined carbs (no more breads, cereal, pasta, rice, cookies, cakes, potatoes (except sweet potatoes). I keep a food diary and count calories and keep my intake aligned with my daily needs (depends on if it's a workout day).
