Oh my!

I wonder what this year's excuse will be? I'm closing in on five years with SparkPeople.com and I've lost -- ohhhh, eight pounds or so from my highest weight.

On the plus side, top weight now seems to hover around 186 but I'd prefer the plus side be a few numbers lower, say 156 and losing.

Day two of keeping track of what I'm eating, so let's see how that works.

How about this morning's news that there's arsenic in our chicken? Dammit, food producers ...

Personal Information:
I am "from" the Pacific Northwest but grew up in central California. Beyond that, I'm deciding ;-)

School is what I have enjoyed more than most other things. I'm supposed to finish my dissertation pretty quick but then, where to go? what to do? who to be? We'll see!

Other Information:
I am sooo glad I went back to school in my mid-forties! That huge thing changed how I think about myself, in very positive ways.

Hey Bee,
Loved the two day blog progression. First day of the rest of my life. . . . .Day 2 . . . it just struck me as funny. We start with a big commitment and then comes. . .Day 2 . . . I'm always like "Are we having fun yet?" Day 2 . . ."Any fun yet?" Love your mouse on the wheel, but if it's going nowhere it won't be any fun. We're in it for the long haul no hurry. Take your time. Enjoy. One thing at a time is good. That's forward motion. Keep up the good work. I can hardly wait for "day 3" Are we having any fun yet?
