I just joined sparkpeople and I love it so far.
I really need to get on top of all this late night chocolate attacks and weekend bacon feasts...

I was always a bit of a chubby kid and teenager at the age of 15 getting ready for junior prom I was in the market for a prom dress... it was so depressing trying to get a nice dress that didn't make me feel like a grandma and would fit me... at this time I was aroung 95 kg with a height of 1.81 meters ... ...

I just joined sparkpeople and I love it so far.
I really need to get on top of all this late night chocolate attacks and weekend bacon feasts...

I was always a bit of a chubby kid and teenager at the age of 15 getting ready for junior prom I was in the market for a prom dress... it was so depressing trying to get a nice dress that didn't make me feel like a grandma and would fit me... at this time I was aroung 95 kg with a height of 1.81 meters ... after I couldn't find a dress I was happy with I ended up not going at all. Still depressed I set myself a deadline to be down to a normal happy weight by the time high school graduation came around... I did very well and lost about 20 kilos in a year and kept it that way all the way till graduation :-) ...

I am originally from Austria but moved to Sydney over a year ago to be with my partner Sam, who I met in Denmark while we were both studying... I already had put a lot of weight on during studying, due to stress and especially in the first year all the partying and alocohol involved, but then I came here and I couldn't work for about 8 months so I started eating out of bordom and put on 20 kilos in a year :-O !!! ... in addition to this we are saving for our first investment property and are on a very tight budget which makes buying the healthy things even harder...

My goal is to go down to about 80... at the moment I am around 120 kg and really not happy.... I just recently needed to buy new work clothes and I didn't even fit into an 18 anymore ;-( ...

I hope to keep up the motivation and get my old body back!!! :-)

Goal # 1 -- 110 kg
Goal # 2 -- 100 kg
Goal # 3 -- 95 kg
Goal # 4 -- 90 kg
Goal # 5 -- 85 kg
Goal # 6 -- 80 kg (this might change as I get closer, due to hopefully more muscle)

At each reached goal I will reward myself with something... haven't quiet worked out yet what though...

We recommend that you do this, as it is the basis of this very special journey with us to health and fitness.

Our Team Leaders have all made this Journey and have learned so much, we are still learning as we go on.


We are vibrant team who love our healthy Eating and doing lots of Exercise .
We have lots of interesting and helpful Challenges going on, and the reasons for these are 3 fold .


1) We need to count our Calories!!!. It is only by counting and keeping within our calorie range that Sparkpeople set for us, that we will lose weight and feel so much better.


2) We need to drink Water!!!. We need to drink at the very least 8 full glasses a day, this will prevent dehydration, and also help to stop us feeling hungry ..
Our brains and other organs in our bodies need water or they will shrivel up and cause so many medical problems .


3) We need to Exercise!!!. We need to keep our bodies mobile and fit.
Without exercising our bodies, muscles will die and we will suffer arthritis and other ailments.


We have fun Challenges too, to tax your brain and keep it active ..
Above all, Our mission is lead a Healthy and Fit life, free from Pain and Illness.
