A healthy and happy 2013

My goals are to eat healthy (even if my husband doesn’t) with only the occasional treats.

Make time to exercise!!!!

And most important: learn to love my body just the way it is. I want to set a great example for my daughter who is 1 yrs old. She is so beautiful and I want her to feel that way every day of her life regardless of what size pants she wears or the number on the scale.

Background:
I've dieted my whole life. Growing up we never had junk food in the house and it was a special treat if we got to have Fruit Loops or other sugar cereals. I know how to eat well because I grew up very conscious of my weight since my mother was.

Then moving out and living with my husband who eats whatever he wants and never gains a pound I started to LOVE and eat unhealthy foods.

I love to listen to Adele, Florence & The Machine, Paramore and alternative music when exercising or watch shows like Gossip Girl and Vampire Diaries...they help keep my mind off of what I'm doing!

Thanks for your comment, I tried Earth's Best Organic formula, and he did take it! So for the past 2 nights he got a bottle, everything else is still breast milk. We also gave him Hylands teething tablets, which ensured a bit more sleep.
Kids can really test you, push every button there is to push, and make you question your sanity. When I stop liking myself as a person, I realize it's time to take a step back and get some sleep!
But there is really no bigger blessing than being a mom :)
How have you been doing?

Hey girl!

Sorry for the delay, I have been so busy! The trainer is nice, have not yet seen any improvements with my weight or inches and it's been almost a month. A bit disappointing but I only go about 3x a week for 30 minutes. I've been so busy that I haven't had time to do much beyond that. How are you doing?

He is actually a big help! He is good at entertaining the baby, helps carry groceries, and a million other little things . I am actually surprised :)
I also feel a whole lot better when I am able to work out. So I hear you! Do you have to adjust your eating post surgery?
