I am married with two very very nice kids. We used to live in Germany but just moved to Spain.
I have been having issues with my weight since my teenager years in France, and moving to Germany (DH is german, but quite sexy actually ;-)) 20 odd years ago has not helped a lot... I seem to eat more when it's cold outside, and boy, has it been cold...
But you know how it is, one always looks for excuses for gaining weight and I have tons of them, but the bottom line is: I ate it all, no one else.

So here I am. Getting slowly back in shape and shedding those pounds. I like to exercises at home because there are no excuses for not moving my behind here, and I needed a low impact program for my knees. I began with Leslie Sansone and started with her 1 and 2 miles early may. I did slowly more and more, began running a bit, than more.... Now I run at least 6 days a week, best distance was 11k, looking forward to more.....I just love it !!!!!

So no excuses anymore... JUST DO IT !!!!

Edit on October 9th, 2010: I started with Spark on May 1st, at my top ever weight of 102.2 kgs for 1.63 m, so waaaaaaay too much. At the end of this month it'll be 6 months. I so wanted to be under 80 kgs by then, but I am 84.4 this morning, October 9th, so I don't think that'll work. But you know what... I'll be under 80 by the end of November, that's for sure !!! As Yoovie would say: if you are declaring it, it becomes true, so there you go !

Reached August 9th, 2010 (later as I thought, but hey, I reached it!)

Under 80: a day at the spa

Under 75 : new jeans.

Under 70 : GOAL !!! Power Plate


My Program:
Vegetables, fruits, protein, careful on the carbs, tasty food that is not junk so yes, cheese is included, but it has to be very good for me to allow myself to eat it. And running, running, running.....

Personal Information:
I am French, lived the first 23 years of my life in Paris, then Germany for 20 years and now I live in Spain on the Costa del Sol . MUCH nicer weather LOL ! I was a very stressed and very very important executive (aren't they all ;-) ?) until 2 years ago, when I decided that I needed to watch my kids grow (very personal decision, not a preaching motto), so that's what I do now. I nurture them and myself and watch us all grow...

Other Information:
Love to read (huge reader, never enough time I feel), play with my kids, meet with my friends and redo the world ;).

And love to run, and can do it again now too, thanks Sparkpeople !!!!

Hi there,
I hope everything is going well for you! I'm impressed that you ran a 7k the other day -- Way to Go!!!! I stopped by your page to let you know that I did my first Leslie Sansone Walk Away the Pounds 3-Mile walk today while my son napped. It was soooo fun! The time went by fast too... I can see why you like her DVD's because she is so upbeat and her workouts don't make you feel like an idiot (I'm all for using the same four moves!). I'm glad I saw that you do them -- because, if not, I might not have opened the DVD case. I thought they would be too easy, but it gave me a good sweat and left me excited to do it again. I'm going to do the four mile walk tomorrow. I plan on doing these a few times a week, doing gym workouts when I can get to the gym on the weekends, and jogging on my mini-trampoline on other days. It's all about keeping moving! Thanks again for inspiring me to do it!

I read your "Superstition" blog and had such a good laugh that I had to check out your page. Congrats on the 25 lb. weight loss! I love your Mark Twain quote -- it is so true! When I'm 90 years old I don't want to be disappointed because I didn't try things in life. Coincidentally, I bought a Leslie Sansone CD about a month ago but haven't unwrapped it. After reading your page I think I'm going to pop it in the DVD player in the morning (it's past midnight here in California -- otherwise I'd do it now)...
