Baby boomer turning 60

03/16/2016 I'm going to turn 60 this summer. That's a great milestone, and I'd like to start my 60s in a little better shape than I've been in for years.

“The only thing a person can ever really do is keep moving forward. Take that big leap forward without hesitation, without once looking back. Simply forget the past and forge toward the future.”

Aw! thanks for picnic basket... the red and white cloth ! Favorite colors.

Hope you are getting into a good routine and looking forward to all the good that baby steps will do for you.

Had to zip around the house this evening to pack hubby's bag, find his alarm clock in the back of a dusty pick up truck along with other missing things... he is disorganized to the max!

I hope you have the best week ever and problems will just fly over your head and miss you completely!

When I get aggravated, I try to go for a walk or clean house with vigor to burn off the edge of the anger.

I hope you are learning new ways to combat stress that don't involve eating food.

My birthday is on Monday and I must be old as I don't want anything.

"The difference between stepping stones and stumbling blocks is not in the event itself but how you think about it and what you do after it.
Every failure and setback can become part of your success or an excuse for quitting or failing.
People who develop the discipline of positivity are both happier and more successful."

Just dropping by to say hello, Sparkfriend! Remember, you don't have to be perfect on this journey in order to make progress! As long as you keep trying...and never quit...you are already a success! Keep doing your best, because you are worth the effort!
Hugs,
Pixie

"Part of abandoning the all-or-nothing mentality is allowing yourself room for setbacks.
We are bound to have lapses on the road to health and wellness, but it is critical that we learn how to handle small failures positively so that we can minimize their long-term destructive effects.
One setback is one setback...it is not the end of the world, nor is it the end of your journey toward a better you."
-Jillian Michaels
