I love sparkpeople

I was 48 when I joined. I am now 54. I love this site and all it has to offer. BUT I had a lot of personal problems in the last 5 years, at times i let my self go and just give up Especially in the winter. I have to forget the past and all the problems I went thru, it over it is the past and it will stay there. I plan to not give up on myself any more. I want to get healthy, I weight about 173 and I should way 130. I will try my best to learn from all the great information on here how to eat better and live better, Exercise is very important as well. I feel good about the future and I am so glad to be a member here. I will try my best to come here often because it truly helps me when i track my food and see what I am doing right and wrong. I love tracking my water and my fruits and veggies it helps me to see what i need to improve on. I thank GOD for sparkpeople

My Goals:
I'm going to lose weight and get healthy

My Program:
I'm counting my calories, I will try to stay around 1200 calories, I am walking out side at least 3 to 5 miles a week, when it get cold I will be on my treadmill. I am now adding more protein not counting the fat, but still choosing the lower fat foods.

I am married and we have two grown children and three grand children, and one due in Dec

I like making new friend's especially if they need to lose weight too.

I'm wishing you a happy, healthy day today, girl! How would you like to do this? Email message our food for at least 3x/week? Would that work out for you? I try to go mainly low carb. Like 3 oz. of turkey with some melted cheese for breakfast this morning! We can do it! emoticon emoticon
