Hi, I'm a health care professional, that has been working on becoming more healthy for years. I've been overweight since the day I was born pretty much. I began my weightloss quest about 8 years ago and made great progress for the first 4. Hi, I'm a health care professional, that has been working on becoming more healthy for years. I've been overweight since the day I was born pretty much. I began my weightloss quest about 8 years ago and made great progress for the first 4. I maintained for about 2 years (within the same 5 bls or so) until the last 4 years - where I've gained about 65 lbs. I joined sparkpeople quite a while ago and fell off the face of the earth and stopped trying. Its only been getting worse since then. I've really struggled in the last year, after a very nasty break up with the person I thought was the love of my life and turned out he was only lying to me, for what reason I will never know. I moved across seas to be with him, we went thru my entire savings building a life together, only for him to cheat on my and tell me he hadn't loved me since before he proposed and asked me to move. There must be something in the water, because I have been hearing about this kind of thing happening way too much. At any rate, I need to start living for me and get to a place in my life where I am happy about myself again.

The basics:
~Meat
~Any and all veggies
~Limited white potatoes
~Fruits are a go
~Any bread must be whole grain
~shoot for a min of 12 glasses water a day.
~ EXERCISE MY BUTT OFF (literally)!!!

BASICALLY EAT LESS AND MOVE MORE!!!

Back home and not loving it right now...

Other Information:
Not much for reading, but when I do I like books by Robin Cook, Michael Crichton and John Grisham and I've been hooked on the Harry Potter books too. I love to play the violin and camping (especially 1790s reenacting). I'm trying to learn to play the mandolin.
