I wasn't going to make a sparkpage but then I started looking at other people's and I really liked how supportive everyone is to one another. So here I am ready to give and get support, I wish the best luck to everyone on their journey to living a healthier life!!

Along with being a 3 sport athlete in high school and playing college lacrosse I have always worked out beyond my sport workouts. I would like to feel good about myself not just on the inside but also to feel comfortable with how I look on the outside.

My Goals:
My goal is to get to a healthy weight and have a BMI in the low 20's.

My Program:
I lift and run on a regular basis. I usually run anywhere from 4-12 miles 6 days a week and I lift 3-4 times a week. I love going on bike rides with my family and playing all kinds of sports.

Hey Becca, welcome to MTC team. Sorry its taken so long to welcome you. How's the book reading coming? I just finished day 19 and am already geared up to do this again in January. It has definitely changed my body.

Hello Becca,
Welcome to the team! You are very, very active! That's great. My passion is weight lifting and I agree with Body & Soil about upping your strength training. Lots of cardio will never develop tight muscle tissue. You will get thin, however.

Since I've been weight lifting (4 years now), I've totally lost my fatty hips and thick upper legs. My upper body is really coming together and I love what's happening with my shoulders, arms, and back! It's great to be able to talk to others who are doing the same thing or at least understand that a woman can lift heavy and look great!

Hey Becca getting back to you about switching over to ST more. I like to St because I don't get big but like the shape I have developed. I was a pear and couldn't get rid of the saddlebags and lil love handles. Now that is changing and I see improvements for sure. Actually the chest exercises give perkiness to the area and cleavage... woohoo Protein, I have lf cottage cheese (mixed with chopped fruit and flax cereal) for breakfast also when I lift weights I drink 1 scoop Isopure by Nature's Best mixed with water (and 1t honey after a workout) and like it a lot actually. This is not a meal replacement but protein only with vits and mins. The rest of the day I eat balanced but with protein in every meal.
