Aiming for Size 12

Hi,
I'm BeBarb149. I'm a 60 something woman living in colorful Colorado, almost in the shadow of Pikes Peak. I really need to lose enough weight to get out of the shadow of diabetes, but also would like to be slim and spry again for what ever time I have lelf on this earth.

My Goals:
Eventually, get down to 135-140 lbs and be stronger, more active.

My Program:
Right now I'm limiting my daily calories to between 1275 and 1345. I either walk an hour at 2 mph or work out to a 2 mile walk aerobics DVD most days. I weight train with free weights and am just starting yoga.

Yes, perfectionists do avoid doing something only halfway.
"Do it right, or don't do it at all," is the motto. So there you have it. LOL

It's a good idea to use the same strategies at home that work in the restaurant.
I think 'family style' eating at our house will now require a trip away from the table for seconds. That should help me for sure.

Thanks for your comment on my blog. Good question - I'm not sure I know the answer but I do know I need to be more careful and make fewer exceptions. Best wishes to you!
