My baby girl, Sonnie, at 9 months
Wedding Day Bliss
I'm a girl in my 30's who's trying to get my life on track. I've worked hard on being emotionally, mentally & spiritually healthy that I'm finally ready to work on being physically healthy too! I want the happiness I have on the inside to be shown on the outside too.
UPDATE 7/9/12: Well, my baby girl, Sonnie, is one and we've finally settled into a routine that takes away the excuses. When I first started SP, I was 210 lbs and after the pregnancy and first year of Sonnie's life, I kept my weight just under 200. That alone was a huge success to me to maintain rather than to gain. I'm back now to make those numbers go down even lower.
UPDATE 3/18/11: So I'm back a little earlier than anticipated because I've been diagnosed with Gestational Diabetes and need a place to get support in managing it. What better place than SP?!? Otherwise the baby is super healthy so far and I've been really excited to keep my weight gain to a minimum.
UPDATE 11/18/10: Who knew when I signed up for SparkPeople in September that I was actually in my 4th week of pregnancy?!? Certainly not me - after 8 years of infertility, it seemed surreal, especially b/c this happened w/o meds or really much planning at all! Part of me worried that I starved the poor kiddo with my initial weight loss but I actually think that all that healthy eating and exercise played a role in it being successful.

Oh.....so happy to hear from you!
I'm at m,y best right now, not close to goal but I'm headed there......I've been going to gym regulary, the weight is coming off, still got a way to go......soon I will be there.
I'm back to teaching cake decorating, picked up a different account with same chain but the store functions somewhat the same which isn't at its best so I just make lemonade with the lemons...lol
Work is going well although I'd like to venture off and start a business of my own.....always in my thoughts.
The kids are doing great, my daughter Selena is a Senior this year, started driving and will be off to Spain to study abroad for 2 weeks, she just got 2 jobs one at the Mall and one babysitting. My son Chandler is a Sophmore this yearwould like a job doing anything but he is only 15, like all boys, he likes to play video games.
Lets keep connected!
