I've been here since 2007. In that time, I've gained 30 some-odd pounds. It's not SparkPeople's fault; it's all mine. I have been pretty consistent about tracking over the course of the whole time--both nutrition and fitness. But that's all I did was track. I didn't look at my numbers or plan in advance or build any sort of consistency...unless you're talking about consistently going over in my nutrition numbers and under in my fitness numbers!

I'm very frustrated, but it's dawned ...

I'm very frustrated, but it's dawned on me. I have this amazing program at my fingertips, and I don't use it as it's supposed to be used! No wonder it hasn't worked! I've wasted so much time, being thoughtless and careless with this program, watching as other people have had success after success, and all I have to show for it is three clothing sizes higher than I started out with!

Well, no more.

I am following this program. I am going to do it mindfully. I am going to see it through, and gosh darn it, it is going to work.

My Goals:
Lose 40-43 pounds (Spark says I should lose more like 49. I'm okay with that, too).

My Program:
I track consistently and accurately before I eat.

I burn at least 700 calories per week.

I get 11,000 steps per day.

I aim for 400-500 calories per meal.

I follow the eating rules of the No S Diet...strictly.

I am back! I promise! It's hard spreading myself out over a few diff social media sites and finding the time. I use MyFitnessPal to track food. and I started a Lose 10% group there with some friends bc they're all too lazy to join more than 1 weight loss social media website, lol. Go figure.

I'm glad you got my letter! I really hope all is well! Are you joining the challenge for Fall?
