So wish the weather would have been warmer. We did make it over to the Navy Pier the other afternoon, after rain all morning. Weather has been so very cold today. It was 45 w/o the wind factor near the lake and we are only a few short blocks away. Much too cold to be out on the water and the wind is bitter. Took the Metra to the Museum of Science & Industry today. Just the short walk from the train, in the rain, we stayed in the museum for about 6 hours to stay warm. We really wanted to do the architectural boat tour but just too darn cold for our thin CA blood to handle. Maybe another time. Glad you had a swell time visiting here. xo Teri
