Second Year, Second Try

Happy 2014! This is my second year on Spark People and I am leaping at it full steam ahead. This year I'm adding daily smoothies and workouts to my diet. And even though I fell off the wagon twice in 2013 I'm going back to my regular twice a week blogging. I've also given myself a small reward system which will reward me for every single day I stay on track. I have a lot planned for 2014, and a lot I hope to accomplish. All of which I talk about in my blog.

I'm approaching 30, getting ready to start a family and need to get my back issues in order before I can do any of that. This means dropping weight, getting more active and eating better.

Walk a mile. [Completed in Boston, March 2013]
Go to the store without being sore.
Be healthy.
Look good in a bikini.
Be under 200 lbs!
Look good in a skinny dress.

My Program:
Eat healthy, alternate every day between yoga and a SP workout until I'm strong enough to do more "advanced" workouts. Walk with my husband on the weekends.

We are on two teams together, the Chair Exercise Team and the Love to Travel team. Loosing 100 pounds in a year is a little steep but not impossible as long as you do not have any major healthy issues like diabetes or a thyroid that is messing you up.

Do remember you want to loose weight AND you want to be healthy, especially if you want to travel.
