SunCity! How I WISH!!! I finally tried Trail Running in June - and fell and badly sprained my wrist. I am just now starting to try push ups and a little yoga... haven't done much running at all since that fall. I have been walking every day - but I doubt I could whip myself into shape fast enough to meet even last years time... what about you? Are you doing the 1/2? 1749 days ago
Hi Polly, so nice to hear from you. I love the mountains, and wished I could visit them more often. And yes, I'm back to running again - that was a very long lay-off, that I hope to never repeat. It really hit home about "listening to the body" and backing off at the first sign of injury. No more pushing things for me.
I was up to 5.5 miles today, including a nice walk after the run part. I am really aiming for a 10k distance on my runs. After that, we'll see where it goes from there.
