Attitude Is Everything....... Keep your attitude strong because every pound lost is a little piece of you that you get back....smile when you sweat because sweat is a fat cell begging for mercy! (Borrowed from another Sparker)
I am getting great results from what I'm doing and am now living a healthier lifestyle. My Doctor is calling me "skinny" now and so is my husband....woo-hoo!!
I live in the Pacific Northwest and we have some property in a "really small" town in Montana. It is so peaceful in Montana and the scenery in both Washington and Montana is beautiful.
I love reading Romance novels and seeing Romantic Comedies. I have two Lhasa Apsos, one is named Harley and the other one is Bailey....they are both my walking partners. I love Country Music (I converted about 7 yrs. ago to country music......before that I listened to and still like Hard Rock Music). Also, in the past 7 years I've become a Parrothead. I enjoy riding our Harley and it's fun taking Harley vacations. I have a doggie pouch for my dog, Harley, so that she can ride the Harley with us....haven't tried this with Bailey yet as I just got her last year.
The Tracker actually is pretty cool! It's fairly accurate, too, it hasn't been too far off from my pedometer. It only counts for 10 minutes of movement, tho. Be aware of that. If you walk for 30 minutes, stop for 15 and then walk for another 20 it'll only count the 50 minutes of actual continuous movement. Sometimes pedometers will count as a step if you shake your leg enough times ! And, if you wear a HRM keep in mind, too, that a pedometer does NOT measure your heart rate. A lot of people are complaining that the Tracker & their HRM are way off. Well, of course--apedometer tracks your step and estimates your calories. It DOESN'T know how high/low your heart rate is. That's what a HRM does. (Can you tell I'm tired of seeing those complaints :) )
And with your upcoming Challenge & the fact that you walk your 'furry girls' a lot you'll get a lot of use out of it.
Just plug the thing into your 'puter & any time you get near it it automatically loads. Pretty cool!
for the comment on my Feed about the Glow Getter. I have the SP Tracker--I understand it's on Amazon now. I got it, in advance, last week in an email for team leaders. It's like a pedometer but it syncs right up to SP automatically. The Glow Getter is an award after you reach a certain amount of steps because the Tracker lights up. Pretty cool! It certainly encourages me to get up and move a little more
