Hello! I've been overweight most of my life. I have had periods of time when I was at my supposed ideal weight (which using the medical standards, I look sick) but all but one of those times, I was not really healthy. One time I was ...going to gym 6 times a week, and I looked really good, but the eating plan was not realistic long term for me, and neither was spending all my free time at the gym, so that soon failed as well. Now that I'm closing in on 50 I just want to be at a comfortable weight , I think 150 will do, and have energy and feel good. my short term plan is to run a 5K. I would like to be ready for this by the end of the summer, or fall. If I can do that, I want to try for a 10K. But right now, I'm working on getting there. I'm having to start all over so I've started my walking. Monday 2/28 I start my trainng for the virtual 5K. I am going to do the 5K walk/run. Next a full run 5 K. If I complete that, I'm going to the beach to celebrate!

working on staying within the recommended cal/fat/carbs/protien. walk while inserting spirts of jogging - pushing myself to increase the jogging I'm also reading Made to Crave, so I'm focusing on understanding my worth and that I was made for more than where I currentlly am in my life.
