Welcome to the Lost a Loved One Team. Use the team as much or as little as you need. There is a core group that will be willing to listen. I read your blog and will offer up prayers of comfort for you and your family. My Dad's gift to me was his firm conviction that he would be transitioning to his next "adventure". That thought gave me much comfort. When I miss him, I picture him farming with a team of horses. That was what he loved. It always makes me smile. 270 days ago
WELCOME to the LOST A LOVED ONE'S team. It's a wonderful team with caring support. My deepest sympathy and sorrow reach out to you during this very difficult time. I am sending my condolences to you in the loss of your beloved husband. I am hoping the following poem may bring you an inner peace that you and your husband are forever connected by an invisible string from his eternal heart to your earthly one.
I am gone now, but I'm still very near. Death can never separate us. Each time you feel a gentle breeze, It is my hand caressing your face. Each time the wind blows, It carries my voice whispering your name. When the wind blows your hair ever so slightly, Think of it as me pushing a few stray hairs back in place. When you feel a few raindrops fall on your face, It is me placing soft kisses. At night look up in the sky and see the stars shining so brightly. I am one of those stars and I'm winking at you and smiling with delight. For never forget you're the apple of my eye.

I understand the grief you are feeling. Like you, I am a widow. I lost my beloved husband in January, 2008. If you ever need a listening ear, healing words, caring shoulders and comforting hugs .... I am here for you. You are NEVER alone. Embracing you in hugs.
