Getting Back to Where I Was!!
I am a wife and a mother of two wonderful children. I have a 3 year old son and a 9 month old daughter. Before I got pregnant in August, 2008, I was in the best shape of my life. I was working out with a trainer twice a week. I ran at least 3 times a week, some week more. Every Saturday, I would run for 2 hours straight. I was doing workouts that I never thought possible for me. I hated running as a child and I completed my first half marathon in July, 2008 in the Vegas summer heat!!! ...
I am a wife and a mother of two wonderful children. I have a 3 year old son and a 9 month old daughter. Before I got pregnant in August, 2008, I was in the best shape of my life. I was working out with a trainer twice a week. I ran at least 3 times a week, some week more. Every Saturday, I would run for 2 hours straight. I was doing workouts that I never thought possible for me. I hated running as a child and I completed my first half marathon in July, 2008 in the Vegas summer heat!!! Then I got pregnant, but continued to workout. I had to switch from running to walking in order to keep my heart rate where the doctor recommended it. I watched what I ate and made it through the pregnancy gaining less weight than I did with my first child. But once I had my daughter, I stopped everything. I stopped watching what I eat and stopped working out completely. I wanted to spend every minute with her because I know how fast the baby stage goes. I enjoyed every second of it. I had 4 full months at home with her and I don't regret a minute. But now is the time to get back on track!!! I am reconnecting with my running group and meeting with them every Saturday again. I have committed to at least 3 days of workouts to start and I am logging my food. It amazes me how many wasted calories I have been consuming. I have made a committment to learn to cook more healthy meals and I am so excited to use SPARKS as a resource. I am ready to be back on track!!! I know I can do it because I was once there!!!

My Goals:
My goals are to learn to cook healthier meals, make better food choices when out, to start running again, and lose the baby weight I gained with my daughter.
My Program:
To meet my goals, I am going to utilize this website to plan meals. I am going to committ to working out at least 3 days a week and reconnect with my Vegas running group.
