Making a choice....again

I found the answer 2 years ago. I got to a healthy weight, lowered my blood sugar and cholesterol and lost the sugar cravings, all without dieting. I exercised 30 minutes a day, 5 days a week. I couldn't imagine losing what I had. But I did. After 2 injuries and a surgery, I lost my mental edge. In no time at all, I was out of shape and craving sugar again. Thanks for the Sparkgoodie. I just found it tonight -- for some reason I'm not getting the emails from SP telling me when someone posts something on my Sparkpage. Glad to know you're still out there on SP! I hope I'll have some weight-loss successes to show you when I get to Chagrin at the end of May. Can't wait! We'll have to do some walking together!

Oh Gladys, I wish I could visit you and your garden! (And my sweet brother too, of course)

What a bummer with the water leak. God never gives you more than you can handle though, right?

So, I'm still trying to learn how to use this website. Did I answer your comment in the right place? And you asked a question under my status about where I walk. (The answer is, all around the neighborhood, or sometimes I meet a friend and walk in the park. One of our favorite walks takes us straight up vertically...what a butt-kicker) Anyhow, couldn't figure out where to answer your question, so I'm puttin' it here!

Hey Terri.....another beautiful day here. Off to Yoga very soon. I dropped another .4 lbs. It is going very slow, but it is coming off. I am still gardening but this water leak has me stressed and is getting in my way..mentally and physically! The leak is right where I have to cross to do almost everything. So if I want to continue to work my garden, I have to go all the way around. Oh well, more steps to count as exercise....right?!
I did harvest some very yummy spinach last night. Spinach salads are the best. I have lettuce coming up too and snow peas. I have potatoes, beans and cucumbers to plant. Tomatoes go in soon too.
I miss you!!

Wow, thanks for all the support everybody! I'm still trying to figure out this website. Like, why when I lost 2 lbs, does it only show a 1.5 lb lost? It looks like it rounded my number down when I first input it. Oh well, I know what I lost. :) The great weather sure makes it easier to get out and walk, doesn't it?
